This sounds silly but, this video got me cooking, all the time. Years along - Chinese, Tex-Mex, BBQ, Mediterranean, you name it. Love it. It's 'arbitrary' things like this that inspire you sometimes and wind up changing your life.

+Kris Sray that makes me very happy. I know many people post ridiculous comments about the guy, about me, about the food, but really the reason I put this video up was because it was a wonderful moment in time where a funny guy who cooked great noodles with such joy, I had to share it. Knowing it had such an impact for you makes my day!

Life in China for those people from lower class of society is really tough and full of danger. I hope this lovely old man would keep his great attitude towards customers and life. It's a shame for me to be gloomy and pessimistic when I enjoy much easier life than he does...

The vendor is so cute trying to entertain. The way he flips the food in place with just a flick of his wrist tells me he's a master cook. My dad used to be able to do that whereas I can barely pick up a wok with 2 hands. Lol!

I do not know why so many people think Chinese eat everything,Most of us do not eat dogs or insects, maybe Some people got different culture so they eat farming dogs ,you shouldn't say too much about it,actually I am so sad to know that western worlds do not understand a lot of things in China, such as we also got freedom to blame the government, even snarling

Indeed, talking about dog eating, people shall check a typical Korean menu, which is almost standard. It is very rare in normal restaurants in China, as in traditional cuisine, dog meats is regarded as very indecent food, it only start to get popular in some places in China.

Cheer up, Grumpy. I bought food from this guy all week, he knew I was going to shoot a video, and he was having some fun with it. Here's what you don't understand about having a small business: If you don't sell what you're making, you don't make money. It wasn't his dream come true, it wasn't my dream come true, it was a few people having some fun. You should try that...

I'm not sure how to Pmessage! It was near the Holiday Inn Guangzhou Shifu. The hotel is on a pedestrian shopping street and this was off of that. At lunchtime the kids get released and I followed them to see where they were going to eat. The whole alley was lined with food carts. Good luck in your travels, China is a great place!

I don't think he meant to be mean either, actually i believe it was a reference. On the Japanese show Gaki No Tsukai i once saw a guest comedian whose signature character is some crazy man dressed like Lincoln on those election posters. All his cloth with the American flag on it (including his top hat) and he would act a lot like the old man in the video. The "OK!!!" was the signature of this character.
