I love this channel. There's lots of cooking channels on yt, but this one might have the best tricks. I loved the old 80s shows like Yan Can Cook with Martin Yan and Wok With Yan with Stephen Yan, but they had to pad out the time with jokes and stuff. This channel is the best for just giving info, with clear instructions and great visuals.

Watching the video now and not done, but felt like commenting. I never liked how store bought orange juice turns out in these recipies, it always tastes bitter to me when I am done cooking it. It takes more time, but fresh squeezed with some added sugar really gives that orange flavor without the bitterness. Looking forward to trying your recipe with store bought and extract though, hope it works 😊
@farmageddon2 күн бұрын
Yeah, my biggest complaint with orange chicken is you can never taste the orange. It just tastes like a standard sweet and sour sauce. The orange extract fixes that problem.

Hey brother I just want to let you know I really enjoy the videos but MSG is a confusing ingredients it's not made for flavor it actually has a chemical reaction with your mind to tell you you like something more than you do and it's not really good for your body I know a lot of people say it's just small amounts but you look at most every recipe anymore and people are putting MSG in it something like a wet batter I use like a good quality mushroom soy sauce or if I want to go really crazy I'll take an anchovy and take my liquid battery and Blitz it one or two of them in it just saying I believe there's probably very little healthy qualities to a good soft Chinese chicken especially with the levels of sugar that we're taking but at least sugar is Pretty Natural MSG is a synthetic major place some of the items I said and that mushroom soy sauce well it's just good on everything even if you just going to make butter noodles with Parmesan cheese put a little bit on their beforehand you'll see what I mean
