Is there a possibility to install an aftermarket central stand? This is a way to big and heavy bike just to keep it on side stand, especialy on off-road.

They added bobbins (or what they are called) on the rear axle to easily lift with those simple lifters (with the small wheels on them). And I guess there will be center stand on aliexpress pretty soon.

ps: this bike is not for off-road. A little gravel yess, but it doesn't have the suspension travel, doesn't have the front 21" wheel and it is heavy as an elephant. Also the inner front diameter is 41mm - other manufacturers start at 43mm.

There are bikes weighing 100kilos more and they're fine sitting on their side stand. Worry not.

The problem is how long it takes to wear out the V-Strom to need another one Chinese or not. Looks decent .

We simply can't know. It also depends on the throttle abuse ;) and oil change interval. Do oil change every 5-6000km when the engine and oil is still hot! (metal oil container)

It's what you CAN'T see.. that is going to be a problem later ! My advice is.....don't take the chance !
