I like this very very much, it's bright and airy, the rooms may not be huge but they are big enough, would be nice if one of the balconies were covered as it would give you some place to put the washing machine, but they are a LOT cheaper than an apartment in the city centre and with the subway on your doorstep you are only a few minutes away from the centre anyway and without the prices and crowds win win as far as I can see. I also got some good news today from the wife on the housing front, our apartment in Nanning is going to be knocked down for redevelopment so I better get saving for the extra that the wife is bound to want and my mother in law's apartment is also being redeveloped, so new and bigger houses for all 😁👍😁👍😁. Indeed very nice homes. Much better than those similar houses (town houses) at North America, and I like those big windows everywhere to let natural light in. By the way, those grass and plants are also very nice, but, are they real? I am asking because in US California, they are having fake/plastic grass, and this is not good.
@lktruong3 жыл бұрын
Is there property tax in owning a house in China? We pay yearly property taxes in California and it's typically a little over 1% of the value of the house. So for a $500,000 house, we pay about $5,500 in property tax every year. Modest houses in CA cost close to $1 million. The nicer areas cost much more. So, property tax can be in tens of thousands of dollars, on top of other costs of owning a house.

I see that Chinese builders do the same trick as in the UK.....there is no storage in any bedroom. Once you put a wardrobe in there, you’ll be unable to move. If this house is around £400k what is the average salary in China and what are the loan repayments like? Your cotton farmer/owners made about £45k-£90k a year, which at the upper end is ok. I’m guessing though that the avaerage wage is around £15k a year based on what the cotton workers were getting (£110 a week = £5500 per year).

I used to live in the city centre in one of Indonesia's city. Everything was within walking vicinity and our house was old. One day we decided to move to a bigger house with a nice neighbourhood but away from the city centre, in fact its semi-rural and outside city limit. We have to sacrifice convenience for comfort, and we decided to do it. Eight years later, we never regretted it. We love our house so much we decided to invest in a second unit and earn a rental income from it. Beside, within those eight years the value of our property has more than doubled because the area was developing rapidly with new mall coming etc. So I think you are making a good decision to move into a such a big landed property there.

Ask the 100's of thousands that are homeless in America what they want.. You must take care of your own before you can take care of our neighbors in foreign countries.. When American's are strong by taking care of our own first, we are very generous and help others. Too many are really struggling right now.. Let's take care of those in America first.. America first. China's resources/funds would be best spent taking care of their own.
