Fun fact: Eternity isn't actually the hardest mode in fargo's! They added Masochist Mode again, which can be activated with Eternity + Master mode. I believe this only works after you defeat Mutant in Eternity, but you can also use the debuff item called the Forgotten Gift to toggle it for a session or a world

As someone who has already crafted the Soul Of Eternity in 1.4, I gotta say: Theres nothing more fun than fighting 10 Empress Of Light at once for a single trophy.

@@drog9235 The base recipe is: Soul of Terraria, which is all the enchantments made from all the _vanilla_ armor sets Soul of the universe, which is the berserker, sniper, arch wizard, and conjurist souls. Soul of dimensions, which is trawler, supersonic, flight mastery, world shaper, colossus. And the soul of the master, which is all the drops from bosses, minibosses, and rare enemies. If you have the DLC, you'd also need the soul of the tyrant, soul of Ygdrasil, soul of the two realms, and spiritualist's soul. But if you don't have it, it's limited to the things mentioned above

Your eternity mode playthrough was genuinely my favorite playthrough that you have ever done on your second channel, and it was really enjoyable to see you play a small portion of it again. Just a reminder that if you have not defeated a boss yet, then upon summoning it the game will automatically give you a free summon until you beat it. Also the special weapons were something like a 1/3 drop rate. Lastly, you can actually play in masochist mode now if you have defeated mutant in eternity mode, it’s basically like an eternity-master combo (or something like that)

Its actually even worse than that the bosses are like on double the amount of drugs rather than just increasing their damage. Maso Mutant is literally 20 times harder than Eternity Mutant

Hey Chippy! You completely overlooked a new boss Fargo's Souls mod added, the Trojan Squirrel. They're supposed to be the first boss and only requires you to catch a squirrel and have wood. It's drops are very fun and unique, but they might be a bit outdated at this point.

Hey Chippy, whenever you do Calamity 1.4, use the Fargo's Mutant mod NPCs, cause you don't need to pay it with souls mod, just have the NPCs and Insta Arenas, they're SO useful for farming and they go so with 99% of other content mods. Also Fargo's Souls makes it so the Boss Summons don't consume until you beat them.

I had this brilliant idea of a consumable item that would change the appearance of the moon when used, called the moon globe. You actually don’t need to get multiple summons every time you die to a boss, because using a boss summon in eternity mode actually drops you another boss summon, meaning you get infinite re-tries until you beat the boss!

Started a playthrough in 1.4 with Fargo's Soul Mod, but decided to use Fargo's Enemy Prefixes. Makes it even more fun and difficult, but had to disable it, because the fight with Eater of Worlds was impossible. Even though he's a boss and i had prefixes turned off for bosses, all of the segments obtained random prefixes... Made the fight pretty unpredictable. Still, the mod and changes are great ^^

the best thing I like about fargo souls 1.4 is that they adjust so well in 1.4 that you can feel their effort. (A lot of accessories require new contents from 1.4, perfect happiness system and dialogue for every npcs, and there's quite a lot of new contents as well!). btw if you find yourself lacking "fruit from trees" or "critters", reach out for the lumberjack!

rn running master mode for the worthy death mode eternity mode. my advise is Jungle Enchantment for pre EoC, it's basically a discount Shield of Cthulu. you craft it with: full jungle set + thorn chakram + amazon + jungle rose. it also adds a triple spore jump that you can use with it as well

@@ChippyGaming what do you think it's missing? i had never played calamity before, but have started some time ago on 1.4 i just paused the video to quickly read some comments, i played some fargo expert eternity mode summoner and got stuck on plantera, second phase feels like an impossible bullet hell with little to no room for any errors, because of the DoT that ignores all the defense mechanics in the game. the first time in 1200h of terraria where i gave up, because i already overprepared to the absolute limits, tried just about everything and wacked my head against the wall for hours with no success and very little progress. i like that kind of challanges, but it's a truly painful experience.

I think my favorite thing about eternity mode is that before you beat the boss for the first time, the game will give you a new summon every time you attempt the boss. There's no grinding for new boss summons, just the initial one. There's also no waiting for the guide to respawn while fighting wall of flesh because they give you a summon that doesn't require the guide Also I'd love yo see you continue playing this mod, the new empress of light and queen slime fights are awesome
