I personally prefer mythril as it makes it easier to tell how it's pronounced. Just remember it doesn't ONLY exist in Terraria and Middle Earth, you are generalizing quite a bit.

Technically you could use any weapon that has merch of it. Like the nights edge or terra blade. You could definitely knock someone out with a plastic blocky sword.

If you take a look at the wiki you'll see that melee has many types of weapons such as swords, boomerangs, yo-yos, I'm using weapons other than that. For prehardmode melee I think the only thing I had was terragrim (which I couldn't find) so I mostly relied on ranger. Mage only had crimson rod which did help a bit during BOC. Summoner has no weapons I can use. And btw grenades aren't allowed too.

There's an issue here, certain items may reference real world weaponry but not function similarly (for example, the flying knife)

There are a few issues that I have with this, if you are only using weapons that actually exist; 1/ wooden armour would have made more sense than cactus armour. 2/ if you died, and you wanted to do it more realistic, you could have made it permadeath 😛 3/ wings would not have worked, however the rope and chain for climbing would have made sense. Technically the star gun can be made in real life. Fallen stars are just tiny meteorites, so they contains lots of iron, a magnetic material. You can make a railgun (mass driver or in halo MAC cannon.) Railguns use electromagnets to launch a magnetic material to insane speed, in this case the ammunition is the fallen stars. Technically the star gun already exists just not the same name or appearance

I'm currently doing a persona 5 item challenge (not a video, Just a personal thing I want to do) only weapon that a phantom theif would use, (I'm not committed to any specific class) certain ranged and melee weapons are banned, along with most mage items, and summoner items are all fair game

Quick tip for finding floating islands, if there are large ore deposits very close to the surface then there is usually a floating island above it.
