Chiricahua National Monument, Echo Canyon/Heart of Rocks Loop. Arizona Dayhike

Chiricahua National Monument is located near the town of Wilcox in Southeastern Arizona. This beautiful area features amazing rock towers, cliffs, mountains, and other formations. This park can be enjoyed by hiking the 17 miles of trail found in the park or driving the 8 mile scenic drive. We started this hike from the Echo Canyon Trailhead and hiked down into the canyon and over to the centerpiece of the park, Heart of Rocks Loop! This was an absolutely incredible hike totaling 8 miles and about 1800 feet of total elevation gain. Enjoy!
