Whether you have suffered an injury, could use some pain relief or feel out of alignment, you may be in need of a chiropractic adjustment. A lifelong athlete, Jeff has had a few sports injuries over the years and finds himself in need of a hip adjustment, back adjustment or even ankle chiropractic. He paid a visit to Dr. Kristen Lemke, D.C. at Grand Avenue Chiropractic and Acupuncture where he had Dr. Lemke focus on his hip and getting his back in alignment.
Dr. Kristen Lemke is a 2009 Cum Laude Graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University. Prior to enrolling in Chiropractic College, she attended Wartburg College where she received a Bachelors degree in Biology and Spanish.
She has gained valuable experience volunteering her time and chiropractic skills to underprivileged communities in Costa Rica, to the Pillsbury House Integrated Health Clinic in South Minneapolis, and high school athletes at St. Agnes High School in St. Paul.
In her free time, Dr. Kristen enjoys spending time playing recreational soccer, biking, practicing yoga and enjoying the outdoors. She is also in her third season as a triathlete and recently second full Ironman in Madison in September 2014. Dr. Kristen’s extensive background in sports has provided her with knowledgeable insight into working with athletes, from weekend warriors to professional athletes. She will be taking courses in Active Relese Therapy (ART) starting in the fall of 2014.
Dr. Kristen’s mission is to help educate all of her patients to understand the definition of health, “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease of infirmity” (World Health Organization-1948). She creates health by treating the individual person and not the illness. By only treating the symptoms, the body many temporarily feel better, but the cause has not been addressed!
This video can also fall under the category of ASMR. ASMR, or autonomous sensory meridian response, is a phenomenon that uses tingle triggers to initiate a tingling sensation that can be described as brain tingles, head tingles, spine tingle, brain massage and even brain orgasm or head orgasm. There are many types of intentional ASMR including, but not limited to, soft spoken ASMR, whisper ASMR, gentile whisper ASMR, role playing ASMR. Unintentional ASMR is also popular, with categories like medical ASMR, chiropractic ASMR, massage ASMR, salon ASMR, shave ASMR, head massage ASMR, clinical ASMR, scalp massage ASMR, painting ASMR, cooking ASMR, eye exam ASMR, and instructional video ASMR.

Are you talking about the drop table? It's more comforting for the patient so they don't feel crushed as the chiro pushes down on that area of the back. Just picture someone pushing down on you while you're laying on the ground, and someone pushing down on your while you're laying on a soft bed. That give makes a difference.

Hello Doctor, I'm from Istanbul,Turkey. I have been watching your videos for a long time. As long as I remember when I close my hands strongly, they make crack sound. I have asked a few doctors in here, and they said that I have small air bubles between my hand joints (fingers), and when I close my hands strongly (fist position), air bubles blow and this sound is the blow sound. I hope I could explain myself :) I'm nearly 28 years old now and I remember I have this for more than 15-20 years. What can you recommend for me ? It doesnt hurt and I dont have any hand disabilities. They just make crack sounds when I close them hardly :) Thank you !

What can you do for tennis elbow?
@VikingII
@VikingII 9 жыл бұрын
I know nothing, i'm not a doctor, and i'm not even a chiropractor or a dentist, but I do lift weights. Tennis Elbow is typically tendinitis, an over use injury. I used to get Elbow tendinitis, but I think it was golfer's elbow. I figured, you need blood to go to the area to heal it, but you don't want to use the arm, because you'll just hurt it more, so, what I do is Static exercises: Do something like a Triceps extension, but *hold* it don't actually do the exercise. You need to put tension on the triceps and just hold it for several seconds at a time, like 20-40 seconds for 3 or 4 reps. One key point is not to hurt yourself. if you feel pain while doing it, the weight is too heavy. You are simply trying to get a pump! I have done this for 2-3 weeks and all my elbow pain went away, and I could start bench pressing heavy again.
@wheelmanstan
@wheelmanstan 9 жыл бұрын
VikingII thanks, I actually think I got it years ago doing skull crushers, I have to refrain from those types of lifts, I'm lifting again and so far it's alright, starting very light with high reps, more like weighted stretches atm, and keeping pressure off the joints, elbows tucked in, I'm not doing pushups which I love to do but I can still do pullups, things like bench, dips, curls, military press always seem to be alright, I'm lifting a lot different now which seems to be the only way, I'm a bit of a mesomorph so just a little bit everyday is really all I need to do, my days of trying to gain mass or get ripped are over, I just want to feel a good pump
@VikingII
@VikingII 9 жыл бұрын
