I am trained and Certified in Advanced Lymphatic Drainage & and massage therapy. Just saying 🙂 Although I’m sure that helped relieve some of his discomfort, it wasn’t really LD. It is VERY LIGHT work to drain the lymph. The fascia is mixed in with the lymphatic system so in that way you may have “released” some fascia or connective tissue which allows the lymph to move more freely through the massaged tissues.

I have had swollen lymph nodes on right side of my neck . Specifically 2 , one under my jaw and 1 on side of neck. Got all tests done , biopsy, ctscan , nothing helped. It has been a year . I tried the ketogenic diet just like that , and magically my lymph node swelling went away . When i was off keto , the swelling came back.

There is more, you need to open the well sites and drain them prior to unclogging one like the “claim” above. It’s frustrating when a video with Professionals eludes to a standard of practice, when this isn’t even in the box of lymphedema. Nothing about what he did is correct in regard to the lymphatic system and manual drainage of the lymphatic. So irritated!!

That area in my neck constantly aches so I researched head and neck lymph node massage. I usually feel pain when I do self massage on my neck. But all the videos I’ve seen say that the massage should be light to the touch. Unfortunately this amount of pressure is the only way to get rid of face, neck and clavicle pain for me. I wonder if those spa, light touch massages do anything.

MLD is more of skin treatment and requires light circular pumping techniques to nodes and sweeping on lymphatic vessels (fluid) to nodes. The Doc is doing deep pressure to tight muscular neck tissue.

I’ve just had ultrasound on groin, to check a lymph node, and they have found more than 1. Having to seek results through an app, with no doctor for me to ask questions is quite bad. The report says it’s 1cm superficial rubbery slightly mobile, non tender lump palpable, correlates with a small ovoid reactive appearance superficial subcutaneous tissue 3mm well encapsulated with a fatty echogennic glum further small normal appearing nodes inferior to this… all appear benign. What does this even mean?😢 🙏

I got a painful strep throat about a month or so ago, felt better within a couple days, finished my antibiotics along with taking a steroid because of two 1cm swollen lymph nodes that appeared on my right side of my neck still hasn’t gone down now a tiny one appeared on my right side I’m freaking out. Im healthy and my thoughts are catastrophic.

Did all the blood work and ct scans and ultrasounds that the Dr recommended and nothing helpful yet. I have another ultrasound in a few weeks to see if I can get a biopsy done and I’m trying not to stress myself out because mine causes pain from time to time

Just because this guys going hard and other people go light doesn’t make either right or wrong. Light pressure consistently every day five minutes a day and will take care of business in the long run. This guy obviously just had it built up in his system. Always start at clavicle and under arms and work your way up and then down again

You prob need it drained. Find a massage therapist that is certified in manual lymph drainage. What he's doing is for the muscle...this is deep tissue massage.
