I've been 100% T&P since I was 19yrs old so it is possible.

You being hundred percent t&p since 19 years old means nothing if nobody knows how old you are today

Hmmm broke my neck ( severed C2) heavily damaged C3-C7) after being impaled under a truck. Busted up knees, perm hearing loss, 5 hernias, left elbow damaged. I THINK THATS PERMEANT

So if I was just evaluated & examined by the VA for the Burn Pit stuff & my results showed "mild scoliosis," would that be considered somewhat permanent?
@Veterans_Voice_of_Faith Жыл бұрын
The VA states that any scoliosis falls under disease and injuries of the spine and can be anywhere between 10 and 100 precent. The VA says that if scoliosis has locked up your back in a place that you can not move from then yes it can be permanent.

@@Veterans_Voice_of_Faith ok....well I can say that I don't have that issue. However, I guess I can still claim it. Thanks

Just so I'm clear. Ive had my 60% rating over 5 years and I've heard nothing from VA am I considered permanent? If I go back to file other things now and that opens my file again can they then mark me at a lower rating because I went in to file others? I really want to know I don't want to mess up what I have but then I don't want to not claim my other stuff. Thanks

You really need to get your code sheet and see if the condition is considered to be "static" to know if the VA considers it to be permanent. However, filing new claims could cause the VA to look at currently rated conditions. But, I am of the belief that if your disabilities warrant the rating you have and you're receiving treatment for them, you should file for anything that you believe is SC.

After 5 years of being unemployable with a 70% rating and TDIU the VA just notified me that my rating would be reduced 10%. What can you services do for me? I contacted you a couple of weeks ago but never got a response.
@irwinsailas5610 Жыл бұрын
Is that a proposal to reduce? Because you still can fight it

I have question somewhat confused about it. I am 70% service connected that I get. With Total Disability Permanent in nature. Can this be taken away? I know the condition won't get better

What if your TDIU is permanent? What is gainful employment?
@Veterans_Voice_of_Faith Жыл бұрын
The tdiu is not permanent because if you have a job that you make more than 1200 a month for 1 year then the va will take it away
