The decision to go with grade 2 was really dumb on Omega's part considering it's a 16k CAD watch. There is no justification for using grade 2 over grade 5 at this price point. Grade 5 is superior in every way. Harder and more resistant to scratches! Awesome watch otherwise!

@@superfast30 What other grade 2 titanium world timer cost less or grade 5 that's comparable in price? We've been fooled by the watch industry into thinking grade 5 can't be scratched. Grade 5 is a more complicated material to work on so the price would be more expensive. Most companies use it for to the fact that it resembles steel in appearance more than grade 2 but embellish on it's scratch resistance in real world use. On paper sapphire crystals are stronger than steel this is another example that isn't true in real world use.

I really like the execution of this piece. If the dial were any smaller the legibility would take a hit. Most other world timers I've seen from other brands that are smaller tend to lean more towards a dress watch aesthetic. If you want something that can go anywhere and take some wear and tear while still feeling light on wrist this is perfect. My only gripe would be if the steel bracelet was more like the current speedy (quick adjust, taper, president style)

Current wrist check is the Omega AT GMT Worldtimer, with blue strap :) I fell in love with it when I saw it, and it shares time with my Omega SMP 300, black dial :) I loved the aesthetic of this version as well, and for a split second thought I preferred it to the blue I own, but have arrived at preferring the blue after all, good news for me. World time and jump hour hand make it my ideal travel watch.

I’m digging this world timer. Usually don’t care for them but I really like the color combination. Maybe I’ll pick one up in the grey market in a few years once I add a world timer to my collection

Love this review and amazing on a smaller wrist. Looks novel to me and seems to take a page out of Seiko design in that it will work on a wider range of wrist sizes than one might initially think. Will be visiting the AD to see one in person.

Still prefer the original color on blue rubber strap - love mine! I think they could improve all of the Aqua Terra’s, this one included, by eliminating the conical crown with the grooves spaced out too far. The SMP crown is way better and much easier to manipulate vs the one on the AT’s.

I had one also as well, but CH highlighted the main problem - the size. While the blue is beautiful, it made the watch look bulkier than usual. The grey and green colours made the watch more refined and slimmer. Price though... maybe will just wait for a pre-ownn...

I would say that this Aqua is more stonning than any other Aqua they have, very cool watch, but kill the 300 Profess or Heritage? Nah thins thing is on different line. edit: I do agree that this should be your new beater watch, suits you more in any regard, whether when you trek, town or anything [for wrist check, I wear Citizen CA0711-80H]

These Omega Worldtimers are on my Grail list… however since they’re a bit out of my price range, I’m rocking a Farer Roche II Worldtimer- British designed, Swiss made and 39 mm beautiful. Wonderful value that will scratch the itch for now.😊

Well, def not the same watch, and I do have the King, and the verticle teak dial variant, both run at COSC, and while I agreee with the appeal of the WorldTimer, giben the cost, the new gun metal Devil Diver, is going to have to suffice. PS the realtibely new rubber deployent for the Seamaster (just like the Planet Ocean’s), would be perfect for this WorldTimer-and your King!
