I have to tell myself everyday "What God has for ME is for Me, the same way what God had for them was specifically for THEM", and when I find it hard to focus on my DARN self, I completely disconnect. I've been on an almost 3 month social media hiatus bc I just needed a break from seeing my friends/hs classmates lives and progression and just focus on myself hunty. Such good advice as always! Definitely picked up some tips.

Giselle A girl yes it started off just as something I was doing for Lent, but I saw such a change (I realized how much stuff I was doing subconsciously FOR social media, sad but true) and bc I live hours away from my home town and don't socialize too much in the DFW I just don't get that distracted. You should try it, just for 30 days and see how it goes for you!

You're a blessing! I'm in tears listening to you. Last year I had big plans for 2017! I was excited for January 2017 especially because I was opening my boutique. Well I did accomplish that, and it has came with a lot of hard work and stress! Not only that but my personal life was rocky also and it started weighing down on my health. At the age of 14 I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areta. I haven't dealt with a flare up since then, until this year. my hair would literally fall out with a slight touch. I went to my dermatologist and the first thing she said was; "you're very stressed out about something." Since then I cut all of my hair off. i wear wigs. I changed my eating up completely, working out, drinking lots of water, treating my scalp with care. But most importantly I changed my way of thinking. I began to read motivational books. Learning more to better my business. I vowed to myself that I would never put anyone else (besides my son) before me. We have to love and take care of ourselves ladies! Last but not least my hair has started growing back, and my texture is better than before! I'm still learning and striving to become a better me! Like you stated, the most important thing to do is to focus on yourself and love yourself!

Thank you so much for the great advice. A few years ago I had made some major changes in what I was doing and who I was hanging out with and I swear it was the best decision of my life. I started focusing all of my time and enjoy into myself and I accomplished so much. What took me years to achieve I did it in 2 months. I have fallen off but now I'm back on it again. Focusing all your energy, time and energy on yourself is so important along with doing the work that is necessary to get your goal. This talk is so important. I honestly felt like 2017 has been amazing for me so far but lately I had been second guessing my success because I wasn't in my "ideal" place but looking back on all that I have accomplished really has made me realize that my journey and process is mine for a reason and I need to enjoy it. I've over committed time to doing things that took away too much time from building my own career and it left me totally drained. I get asked to do things with and for people all the time and I had to learn to say no without feeling guilty about it. I let go of a "job" commitment so I could really focus on my own business and even started back on KZbin and being consistent and it's paying off. I have soooo much more peace of mind now! I have taken my intentions up a notch and I love it. Love this video Ash & love you ❤️
