I’m so sorry you’re going through all this. Sincerely wishing you good health and a successful surgery. I think it says a lot about your character that you’re still able to reflect on your ex partner’s good qualities. Breakups can be tough, especially when the process is unclear or hurtful. I hope you give yourself time to heal and focus on self-care. I’m so glad you have an awesome support system & such a good disposition. I’m rooting for you! On the makeup front, I so want to try that Danessa Myricks product. Love just about everything they do! I’m feeling the same as you about the Glaminatrix palette. While I enjoy their products, I’m not a big fan of pastels. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also, quit trying to confuse me, woman! 1:54 😜

I feel for you, I was going through something similar. through the loneliness, regrets etc.. i got a good opportunity to understand myself better. few lessons.. listen to your inner voice. more than being kind to others one needs to be kind to themselves. always put your needs first over anyone else. I watched a good video on KZbin last year about heartbreak which I thought was really good. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link it, but the title of the video on youtube is: How to fix a broken heart | Guy Winch | TED I often find that the difficult parts of splitting from people (romantic or otherwise) is saying goodbye to the expectations and 'dreams' I held about that relationship. People will always come in and out of our lives but it is our attachment to those expectations and dreams that I have the most difficulty in saying goodbye to. Not sure if 'expectations and dreams' are the right words but it's more so conveying what I thought about the relationship is what I am saying goodbye to because it didn't match what the other person viewed it as.

Ooh, I love a good TED talk! I will absolutely check that one out. And you're absolutely right, when we lose a relationship we lose what we thought our future was going to look like and I think we grieve for that as well as the actual person.
