Being a bourbon sipper the 12 was just ok. I'd like to try the 18

Chivas Regal 18 whiskey was bought in Lausanne, Switzerland. The whiskey is dense, not alcoholic. But don't expect any taste, bouquet or aftertaste. They just don't exist. But 10 years ago, dade Chivas Regal 12 had a pleasant, fresh creamy taste and aftertaste. I believe that the quality of Chivas products has become worse in the last 10 years. I even wrote to the manufacturer, but I didn't get a response.

Don't usually like blended whiskey but after trying chivas 12 and 18 there both pretty good.

Hi from Scotland. Just discovered you guys and I’m impressed with your set up and reviews. Well done. I look forward to watching more. I’m blessed living 40 minutes from Glengoyne, and the one that started my journey a few years ago , Deanston, which along with islay whiskies, which I visit every 2 years, makes life amazing. Look out for anything Kilchoman. They are raising the bar with their, barley to bottle whiskies. Fantastic distillery. Check them out. Keep it up guys, Slainte mhath 🥃🥃🥃

Thank you for the kinds words. I’m envious of you location. We want to come over and tour Scotland and as many distilleries as possible. Im a huge fan of Glengoyne. And I’ll definitely keep an eye out for some Kilchoman. Happy New Year. Slainte! 🥃

.......SHEEH-vas REEH-gal.....* In Jan 2024, Virginia state stores charge about 100 dollars for a bottle of this CR 18. Unfortunately, we wasted our dollars on a bottle of Glengoyne 12, which tastes musty and woody. Aaargh......
