Just started drinking a month ago. After watching his youtube, in my collection now are macallan 12 sherry, 15 triple cask, 18 sherry, glenfiddich 18, glendronach 21 and glenlivet 25.

In a previous FAQ video Horst said that he finishing the dram is a very good indication of really good whiskies in his opinion.

I waited for a few years, about having Chivas Regal 25 yr go head to head with John Walker "King George V" - (King George V just takes it , but not by much BOTH are excellent 👍✨).....

Nope to the fact that it is chill filtered and colored after the fact. I would not buy this. But I would like to taste it somehow. I am sure it's not found in bars etc so...

For that price you can have many other bottlings much better than this, and with higher ABV and natural presentation.

I normally distrust ornate bottles and complex packaging. How much of my 220 euros is spent on marketing consultants and PR? As Ralfy might say, it's designed to appeal to wealthy people who are more interested in status symbols rather than actual whiskey. Also looks like it's full of artificial colouring?
