this is fantastic, i inherited a 5ft, 200gallon tank about a month ago, it came with 60+ cichlids, im now obsessed and learning about them has been amazing, this video has shown me a lot, its great to see their digging in their home enviroment!!

Beautiful video! Buy I always can't help but wonder how this magnificent lake was formed. It's a freshwater lake surrounded by land. I wonder if there is any connecting rivers to them. Also I wonder how these fish got their colors, it really could be they come from ancestral saltwater fish... or if someone accidentally added them as aliens to this lake. ....never the less I love cichlids. Cichlids > any other fish

The guys eating the periphyton it grow in the rocks. When you have some months any aquarium the periphyton grows. Is the color of the rocks

If you don't like the rocks in you aquarium, if don't grows periphyton in the expectatives, coloring your rocks and the is more attractive and stimulate the color of the cichlid
