Love the new look of the Method 706. Just watched, definitely like the 0 offset. Can you get the TRD Pro in a 0 offset? I sure haven't been able to find them. And I checked Method website, doesn't seem that the matte black are available in a 17 x 8.5 now.

I put Method wheels on mine too, paired with my KO2's. I went with the bronze color, and I LOVE them! My truck is red, so the contrast really works well. I went with no offset with mine.

I have a 2020 4 cylinder, im looking to upgrade the wheel and tires. Would 265/70 16 be too big for that truck? I know it's common with the v6 models, just don't know if they create too much drag on the truck. Was thinking about just going with the stock size so it wouldn't mess with the speedometer but if they work without issues id go with the 265.

I would argue if you put enough bodies in the back as dunnage, you won’t need to tie things down.

She has a Decked storage in the back of the truck, that said, if anyone sees the video more than half of the wheel box is outside of the bed, which means that you only need a pot hole or a speed bump of the size of whatever it's inside the bed to loose your new wheels. I wouldn't risk it either 😅

Nice simplistic OEM look of the out going TRD Pro wheel. I know you have been using KO2 tires since the inception of your Taco channel but you should really try Nitto tires or a few other brands sometime. Please not trying to start a thread of what’s best. No hate… just live life with options.

Looks good, as you mention it has similar looks with the added tech benefit. Good medium between offroad and street use. Overall keeping with the Oem Plus theme. 👍🏽

If you are staying with your original spare tire then I suggest carrying some extra lug nuts with you because the Method lug nuts will not work well with that stock spare. I eventually changed out my original spare with a Method wheel to match the rest.

They look very nice! 🙂 Quick question re the TPMS - if you rotate the wheels around to get better wear out of the tyres, would the sensor positions become confusing because the sensors would now be moved from front to back or even side to side?

I love the OEM wheels to be honest bc they fit well and look so good. But Method wheels are extraordinary and reasonably priced. I chose Black Rhinos for my truck. So many good ones out there. The silver paint and black wheels/wheel well arches look killer. The Methods are perfect w/slightly more neg offset.

I bought my 18 OR in 19 and it came with fuel wheels and they used the wrong lug nuts, truck felt unsafe going about 65 mph.

Spline lugnuts are the absolute worst. It's not that you don't want acorn, because you do, but you want conical acorn if your wheel needs a conical lugnut. Splines are thin, that's why they cost $20 for a set.

K02's are a really great tire. It appears that they will be harder to get, as the K03's are coming out. Looks like the data code is 4122, meaning that tire at 5:38 was made during the 2nd quarter of 2022.

Chloe, love your channel and the positive role model you display for the "can do" ladies of America. You should check out Icon Rebound Pro wheels! They have DOT approved bead locks that perform even in single digit psi. I have them on my Trail Boss wrapped in Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT tires. They are quiet on road, float over sand, and crawl like a caterpillar over rocks. Love your build and that you do it yourself, very inspiring. Keep up the good work!

Methods are awesome, I just got MR 305NVs myself. do you know are your new wheels cone seat and do they require extended threads? I was told TOYOTA have short lugs and need extended threads on the cone seat lugs. I am having a tough time finding wheel locks that are cone seat and extended thread for my methods, if you have any luck would love to know. The 0 mm offset on methods looks really good!!

I ran ko2s on a 4Runner back in the day. Never got stuck in the snow or sand. Pretty aggressive but yet good for the pavement.

"street legal" lol as a cop I can guarantee you 99% of cops wouldn't be able to spot if any part is street legal or not. We're not mechanics. I have zero clue what I'm looking at half the time in regards to vehicles. Only time you're getting busted for not using something "street legal" is if the cop is mad and desperately trying to find something to pin on you for whatever reason. Only time cops suspect someone of that is if they catch a literal illegal street racer, at that point one can assume something isn't legal, but at that point they have bigger problems than a part if they're caught going 120.
