Thank you +Luis Martinez :) The buttercream frosting can be found here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pH2pgqCkg9mWbs0 the cak tht I used in this video is actually a premix from Bakels :) it is amazing. If I am making a tutorial that is not recipe related then I make a box mix. Saves me a lot of time and money that way. But I do have a scratch chooclate cake tutorial if you like, it's moist and spongier as apposed to dense.

could you do a cream cheese frosting or will it not be hard enough even after freezing it for a little bit?
@Rosiesdessertspot6 жыл бұрын
Hey hun, you can, although it wouldn't be as stable. I usually add half butter and half cream cheese when I create cream cheese frosting. It just helps the frosting to become firmer than regular cream cheese frosting. This should work! Just not under fondant lol but if you are replicating this exact cake, then adding butter into the frosting will keep it nice and firm.

Amazing!!! love it. is the chocolate you used tempered or just melted chocolate? and approximately how much do you let it cool before applying it to the cake? thank you so much Rosie 💕😘
@Rosiesdessertspot9 жыл бұрын
Hi +Queen B, kinda, thank you for your comment! I didn't temper the chocolate since it was compound chocolate (Cadbury / Nestle melts). Once you pipe it onto the baking paper, depending on the temperature in the room, it can take anywhere from 20 seconds to 40 seconds before it's ready. That day was a cooler day so it literally look about 25 seconds and it had lost most of it's gloss / shine and was ready to apply. On a really warm day, it can take even up to a minute. But just look out for the chocolate's shine :) that's the best indicator.

Hi +Oriana Martinez, it depends on the temperature in your room. If it's cold, then the chocolate will harden much faster. I left it for about 25 seconds. You know it's ready when it begins losing it's gloss but is still flexible :)
