I’m so glad I found you! You’re the realest lady I’ve seen yet during the kind of cooking I was raised up on and I love your kitchen. It’s just look like my Mama’s kitchen with pots and pans hanging and shelves to hold things, because there’s not enough storage in the kitchen and you’re just a sweet lady. I’m not the “star struck” kind of person, but you’re someone that I feel like I could hang out with, eat and gain a lot of weight! 😅Continue to be a blessing! ❤❤❤

This cake looks so delicious Talli Faye , I’ll be making it for sure !! Thanks for reading off the ingredients and the instructions at the end , it helped a lot watching the video and then getting the list and instructions it sorta helped make sense!! Thank you and I’m sure glad to see I’m not the only one who uses clothes pins to close bags 👏👏🤣🤣!! Talli Faye I don’t know if you know but you can make powdered sugar out of regular granulated sugar , just put your sugar in a high speed blender or food processor and let it run on high until it turns into powdered sugar ! A bullet blender works great and does it in a couple of minutes but lesser powerful blenders can take 4-5 minutes just keep a check on it !! Caution -be careful opening the lid after blending it up a cloud of powder can come up and make you choke a little on the sugar dust , also make more than you need because powdered and granulated measure up slightly different amounts when measured , I don’t know why but there is a little different measurement !! ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈

I make this a lot. Especially with the price of eggs!! My mother used to always make this growing up for our lunches with just powdered sugar on top. I usually just cheat and buy a cream cheese icing for it. I never grease the pan. The recipe of my Mother’s didn’t call for it. It doesn’t stick. I just use a metal spatula and comes out just fine. And her recipe calls for just plain old vegetable oil. I’ll be trying your chocolate icing next time I make it though! It looks delicious!! You can make a vanilla cake but just omitting the cocoa and adding an extra teaspoon of vanilla. My mother used to make it that way for strawberry shortcake. Have a blessed day!

So here I am at 1:30am watching this video. You just got finished stirring all the ingredients together. I’m so confused as to why you had to do 3 holes for the liquids then stir it all together. My years of cooking screams don’t trust this recipe but then I remember I’m trusting you Ms Talli Faye not the recipe. Waiting patiently here for the verdict on the almost forgotten baking powder. I’d probably just not bothers and hope it was a new strand of brownies. My brain is turning wondering why make the 3 holes in it and then mix it up. Why not just mix it up the regular way. You know, add the dry to the wet and mix away. Unless... Mixing it in the pan keeps folks from over mixing. Or maybe they did it that way to make the name "Crazy Cake" make sense. I don't know but I"m going to find out. I'm gonna make 2 of them (thank goodness my grandbabies love cake cause I can't eat all that cake. Well I could eat all that cake but I probably shouldn't) and see if they taste any different. If they taste the same, I'll know how the name "Crazy Cake" came about. You go crazy wondering why in the sam hill you're doing it that way.
