I would really love to request anyone looking for a chocolate cake recipe to try this one out. This is the easiest and best chocolate cake I have ever made. The sponge was moist and the chocolate ganache was so smooth and tasty plus easy to make. Made this for Christmas and got tons of compliments. I am curious about the light color of the cake. Mind you, making it. A layer for my neighbors, 1/2 a layer for me, and the other for another neighbor. As far as cleaning up the plate/stand the cake is being frosted on goes, the rule my mom taught me was that the person frosting it gets to clean it up with their fingers and tongue, which is a great rule if you don't mind most of the frosting ending up on the plate/stand... ;-)

Wow it looks so scrumptious... I am salivating just looking at the thumbnail.
