Fun fact for popple fights : ALWAYS kill popple first. Gives more EXP because if after you kill rookie, popple doesn't die in one turn, he'll run away and will give less EXP.

The Superstar Saga remake is so good and really put some effort making every movement of the characters, even how Mario and Luigi talks makes me smile. The sad thing is some minor changes, like how Geno is gone in the arcade in the Fungitown and the skeleton Kong in the chuckola ship.

Dream Team!!! I love Dream Team!!! It may have tons of tutorials and the story may drag on, but it makes up for it with the sheer amount of charm it has. I love how expressive Mario and Luigi are. There are so many cute little animations after they perform attacks successfully. And of course, it gives Luigi the spotlight.

I recently replayed Superstar Saga on my 3DS, having gained some new perspective on it after playing the remake of Super Mario RPG and seeing where it and Paper Mario drew inspiration, and it was only on this recent run that I first noticed that Cackletta’s eyes shift during her Arm Swing. And I had beaten the game twice before at that point. So yeah, definitely not a critical point of knowledge as long as you’re good at dodging the rest of her attacks.

Bowser's Inside Story was my favorite back in the days when I still had a DS. I loved that game. God, it's such a shame the remakes were for the 3DS and not the Switch. Because I'd pay full price for these remakes on the Switch. And selling them on the Switch would've done a lot better in sales than the remakes actually made. The unfortunate truth of the matter is by the time they released, the 3DS had already reached the end of its lifespan.

The great thing about the Mario RPGs is how much personality they give to all the characters. Like people always talk about how they would never use Mario in Mario Kart because hes basic and boring Mario. But have you seen him in the RPGs? Marios a badass and he's charming and goofy in a good way. Luigi even more so.

I remember as a kid I always wanted super Mario bros. 3 for my GBA and never got it untill 1 day my dad bought this game thinking it was it. To answer your question about max damage, I'm pretty sure the max is something like 1387, which you can get by using Super Fire Bros on an enemy that's weak to fire (like the snow Snifits)
