Originally she auditioned for the event with a drum arrangement, but had to play it on piano due to technical stage limitations (both videos are on my channel). Thank you Patti Smith and CHOIRx3. It's a timeless song, particularly in 2024, a year marked by the huge number of elections in some of the most populous countries in the world. I loved it, posted it and tagged it in my channel. At the same event, my daughter sang Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes. We did not realize the coincidence until before the performance. Meg White divorced Jack White (who wrote 7NA) and remarried Jackson Smith, the very son of Patti and Fred Smith, who wrote PHTP.

My mind always goes to Patti (my sister's name also) Smith's song at the Nobel celebration for Bob Dylan. I think of me in that same position....could I be human? Humble. A mentor of mine that I used to watch interact with patients and medical students, if you listen, they have lots of questions and watching a great teacher decide how to answer is art, IMHO. Some questions were outside Eric's wheelhouse and I was amazed to see the power of saying I don't know! His esteem rose cause he didn't know something??? Patti Smith teaches the same same, be honest. Great arrangement, does it make me feel like I was there? No, BUT, a little bit. Spread awesomeness. thank you, sincerely. Lawson di Ransom Canyon

An excellent anthem for humanity. A salve for broken souls. Patti power. And that’s Stuart Copeland from The Police !

Et bien sûr au moment du refrain, elle recule d'un pas. Love this woman.

My last concert was March 8, 2020 at The Fillmore in San Francisco, where Patti Smith, Lenny Kaye, and band gave us a performance to remember forever. People Have the Power was toward the end. We sang along, but not like this. This is completely inspirational, emotional…….

Agree. Especially when humans fight the wars and kill 'emselves and the others, they are unique expressions of this infinite love !

Seeing what Israel is doing to the Palestinians today, and seeing people all over the world protest it. People all over the world seeing through the corporate media, seeing through their government lies. They walked and protested while no major media outlet covered them. Patti committed her dream to us, we must not disappoint her. Fills me with tears

I still remember when I visited one of Patti’s concerts back in the 80s. It is so nice to see her now, how modest she is and so happy to sing with the choir. I got goose bumbs when I saw this video. Thanks a lot for sharing this wonderful moment.
