Size absolutely matters. Fighting anyone over 250lbs and 6'4" is a problem.

Theres a way to take them to the floor whilst stuck in a headlock and achieve a nice armbar. You don't have to lie down either to achieve the armbar - it can be achieved whilst crouching with an erected posture. It requires taking side control, steping your leg closest to their feet over and around to their chest/abdomen area, framing on the neck and posturing up. Their arm around your neck will naturally end up in your armpit with proper positioning of your frame. It will be somewhere in a bjj/judo video online.
