CCF Webinar: A clinical trial for a potential new tHER2apy for biliary tract cancers

This presentation covered the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor-2 (HER2) protein and its role in cancer, with a focus on biliary tract cancers. It also discussed how cancer treatment could be designed to target this protein. Additionally, it introduced viewers to a potential treatment targeting HER2 for cancer therapy. Viewers were introduced to Zanidatamab and some results from a recent clinical study on the safety and efficacy of Zanidatamab in treating biliary tract cancers (BTC). Following that, the presentation provided an overview of the clinical trials necessary for developing new drugs and introduced viewers to a new, ongoing clinical trial assessing Zanidatamab’s safety and efficacy in treating advanced HER2-positive biliary tract cancers.
