Great shots of the city. What a view. You captured the lights and vibrancy of the city. Spectacular. Love the boats and the buildings lit up.

Everybody startled screaming "WOW" as the cable car started to move. Kind of entertaining. Hehe.

Dusk was such a great choice to shot this video. Nice to enjoy the different buildings and points of interest lit up whilst still benefitting from the views of the city

Thanks, actually if I had my way I would have ridden this about an hour earlier as I wasn't expecting such a long queue! I'm glad everything worked the way it did (with the long queue) to get the spectacular lighting I got! It really was the perfect timing!
Chongqing is my city. Welcome and hope you had a good time there.

dang! many different cities from around the world look so awesome,futuristic,or/and glamorous!! its make our America cities look so plain Jane and dirty. its like comparing a hand crafted chandelier to a paper bag......

If the price you have to pay for that glitter is Chinese communism, then I'd rather live free in a trailer park.

Slippin Jimmy it’s not lol. Taiwan, Hong Kong (yes I know it’s now PRC but wasn’t until relatively recently), Singapore, Japan, all these countries make our American cities look like shit. And America has long quit being free, we don’t have rule of law, corruption at the highest levels is the norm, we have the most aggressive overpolicing and incarceration in the developed world, some of the worst crime, and at least for the federal government we are mostly run as an incompetent corrupt oligarchy where citizens are subjects of our rulers, much like many other supposedly less democratic less free countries. Still a big difference between the US govt and CCP. I wouldn’t take the trade either. I think most working class Americans would trade away freedom for significant economic growth in a second though. Pathetically we beg for the govt to take away our freedoms for the illusion of security. I guarantee you a huge portion of this country would trade major freedoms for a new f150 or a new house lol Even dictators are scared of their citizens. That’s why bismarck started universal healthcare in Germany in the 1800s, to quell dissent from unhappy citizens. So the formal political arrangements and names of the systems are generally not near as meaningful as people think

Nice video. 7:19 They are only up ticket number 223,619?
@Luke_Starkenburg7 жыл бұрын
Thanks, this ticket is actually for 2 people. On the far left of the ticket is show the number 2 with a teepee character (< rotated 90 degrees). This is common to have one ticket for 2 people. It also shows that we paid 60RMB, so that makes sense because round trip fair is 30RMB for 1 person.
@Luke_Starkenburg7 жыл бұрын
Maybe this is 223,619 people since a new ticketing computer system? Just a thought maybe.

Decades ago it's a way for me to go to the CBD and my home,cheap ticket price as RMB 2yuan in cash and 10% discount with the smart card. And now it just been a tourist attractions with high ticket price,lose its original meaning as a way of transportation.The train is made by Guizhou yunma aircraft factory,and the main cable is from Austria.

Lets face it, how many westerners have even heard of Chongqing on the Yangtze river. It's a magnificent Mega City. In the west they will live their whole lives quite happily & die never knowing what they have missed of the magic of CHINA. Try "templemain"on You Tube.
