Debra Searle is the world's premiere inspirational speaker, and she has charmed and motivated audiences around the world. Hers is a story of character, endurance, intellect and sheer determination to succeed....by choosing the right attitude. I "steal" from her regularly. I hope I get to see her speak again soon, I've never heard better.

"...her tiny craft dwarfed by the threatening sea..." Well done Debra, for doing it for the team, myself included! I am with you, 100% - What really tides us over in the face of these over-bearing storms in our seas is indeed the ATTITUDE we choose. As we sail on, may negative attitudes be "banned from the boat", even when our craft is dwarfed by all manner of threats!

To say you are inspirational is still not an adequate enough word to describe you Debra, your achievement and your talk here on TEDx is amazing! Thankyou so much. Jane x

I cried. Choose Your Attitude is familiar to me from FiSH Philosophy, but Debra made me cry, and made me feel like this could be a way of ‘braining’ when you can’t just ‘feel’ an attitude or emotion. Choose triggers to check in with yourself on your choice of attitude. Choose an attitude. List reasons you have for that attitude. Move on. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Debs, I always enjoy the lesson of Choose Your Attitude... seems like every time I hear, read or watch it, I find new or at least renewed understanding. It has been several years since you presented to our team and I so well remember the feedback - especially one lady coming up afterward, in tears, saying what she was going through personally, that your presentation meant the world to her. You are an amazing lady. Jim

Thank so much. It doesn’t matter what happens to you in your life; it matters what attitude you adopt. And the attitude you adopt is your choice. I read from book about that

This was amazing to see in person. I didn't really know her story when I went to TEDxSalford but I left with this as one of the most inspirational talks of the night, and such practical advice! Thanks Debra for sharing x

This is one of my favourite ted videos. I've written an article about choosing your attitude here if anyone's interested. Search for "Mindset Development" on Google Plus.
