I was working for Firestone when the ford explorer had their tire problems. It was a damn nightmare. Sooooo many tire changes.

I had a first generation Ford Explorer. We called it the Exploder. Not only did it have a transmission that lasted less than 50k miles but the suspension was terrible suspension was so bad it felt like it was going to roll over at every turn. I sold it the same year I got it, before the Firestone fiasco.

Tusk had a recall on those tires. They sent a new tire with a $100 gift card for RMMC to those that were affected.
