Speaking of bikes that went away.. anyone remember the black line? I think that what it was called. It only came out for a few years. They weren't known as the greatest bikes, they had some weird parts on it that were expensive and exclusive to that bike only. I think the bars were weird or somethin.. maybe the front wheel too? I'm not 100% sure...I can't remember exactly. I think it pretty much had a sportster front end but fucked up bars that didn't fit a sporty, if that makes sense ..idk. I haven't even thought about that bike in years but the comment randomly made me think of it right now...but thankfully these bikes seem to be pretty decent and popular, so I don't think they'll go away anytime soon but you never know with Harley I guess...

As a former Nightster owner, it has some quirks. Just tap the start button (not hold it down) as you will foul the plugs, let it complete it start up cycle as it may cause a check engine light which is to remind you to let it complete its full cycle (have dealership show you how to clear the code-very easy), and there is a heat shield for the right side of the bike. Use only full synthetic oil (I like Motul 20W50). If you every have a software error where the bike will not start, unplug the main fuse, wait 30, reinstall the fuse and try again ( hopefully Harley Davidson has fixed this bug. This bike is very fast in Sport mode. Install a crash guard and have fun🤪

People like that remind my of a 13yr old emo kid who has to hate everything about everything to be "cool" or the guys who hate Sportsters because "a real man would never ride a girls bike" they're just like the ones who have to drive a jacked up truck to prove how "manly" they are but refuse to get their 38in tires dirty...the people being overly "non conforming" saying it's too commerical are just as bad as the sell outs they're talking about. Even if they like it, they have to say they hate it, just like the opposite side where even if they hate something, they say they love it, just to fit in with trends. Whatever happened to not giving a fuck about what anyone thinks and openly liking whatever the hell you want? Isn't that technically more non conforming than anything? Personally I'm looking forward to seeing what he turns it into...but even it's completely badass, there will still inevitably be people talking shit about it..
