I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.

Idea: not sure if this has been done but here goes. Three starters, you choose a Pokémon and depending on their type you take it’s best stat and buff it’s other stats with the best stats of other Pokémon of the same type. Once you select a type it’s locked out. Then you battle!

Hello father, a simple but fun idea (kind of like this video) could be: Choose starters but the opponent makes two pokemon switch places. So let's say there's a Delibird, a Venomoth, and a Zekrom on screen but your opponent chooses to switch Zekrom and Delibird (without you knowing ofc); if you then choose Zekrom, you'd get the Delibird instead, because your opponent had those switched.

Video Idea: Spin a wheel to get a random type, which will be your monotype team. Each round will have 3 random pokemon of that type (either primary or secondary to add more options, just in case one person gets electric and the other ground, or something along those lines). If that's too unfair maybe you could do some kind of buff for the weaker type or a debuff for the stronger type, like banning legends for the stronger type, or maybe only having 2 choices instead of 3 each round.

Don't know how viable this is, but what if random starters but only things that can evolve. If you get the base form, you get a buff. If you get the middle stage, nothing. If you get the final form, you get a debuff. If you can't remove the Pokemon that don't evolve, then they get a Buff AND a Debuff.
