The reason the "lie" style doesn't work well here is bc this specific type of challenge is already so difficult the lying doesn't add anything to it. Like getting F K A has the same energy as getting F E(lie) A. I think lying shines when the challenge is inherently easy without lies. Like if you do egg groups or pokedex numbers, where they have some pretty easy tells as to what is a legendary or a good mon, lying can circumvent what could potentially be an easy choice for the picker & lead them making a bad choice. So great vid! But i think you should use lying for easier challenges & just keep it what it is for harder challenges like in this vid!

The lying actually works because the Chooser needs to run the roster of Pokemon through their minds based on that letter. Have a terrible Bidoof you want the Chooser to think is a Xerneas? Say X. Sure, it might not work, but it's just an easy example

Gonna napkin-math a sec. 26 letters, some 1000 pokemon. Call it 39 Pokemon per letter, as a mean. Not all of them are in the game, so let's cut it down to 35 or so. 1/35 odds, assuming all Pokemon have an even chance of appearing. That'd be enough chaos to avoid the lie, I think. BUT, based on the history of these videos, they don't all have an even chance. I think that probably necessitates the lying to keep it entertaining.

Maybe I could try doing a tagteam treasure hunt again? But this time each teammate has to roll a die say six sides, and each number is assigned a specific item or condition. So say shady rolls at two goes to his board and it shows a rare candy. Then the opponent can pick a number and shady has to hunt for a mon that evolves at that level. And say Dylan were to roll three and it has a reaper claw and a dragon scale so now Dylan has to hunt a trade evolution mon
