If he is wrong you get the mon and can pick if it will have random ability or its own ability. If he is right he can either pick another mon (he still can't see them) or pick if the mon you chose will have its own ability or random ability.

Here's an idea you might like Shady, You and your opponent each take turns rolling a D6 (6-sided die) and you select the starter from the number rolled. So for example, your pokemon are 1, 2, and 3 and your opponents are 4, 5, and 6. So if you roll a 5 you select the pokemon in the 5th spot, which would be your opponents 2nd pokemon. And to make it interesting, you roll before you see the starters. You each do this 6 times
