Here's an idea: you and someone else catch 24 pokemon. Do not let the other know what they are. The pokemon you catch are matched pairs. So, the first one you caught will be matched with the first your opponent caught, etc. Then, you pass them along to a third person who creates a fusion of them. That person assigns them 1 through 12. Then, without seeing or knowing what these pokemon are, you and your opponent get Alexa to pick a random number between 1-12 until none are left. Those are your teams to battle against each other.

I love these videos, but I wonder if you might consider introducing a dupe clause? It really sunk in seeing it twice this video that it's significantly less fun to have two of the same pokemon there (jiggly/wiggly, mon/inf), and that seems like an easy reroll! After all if it's randomised anyway, all it really does is turn three options to two, which makes the outcome feel less random than intended.

2T1L by egg moves to choose starters, that's an interesting one since some mons will be easier to distinguish than others if they are well known for having a certain move, but it also can make it difficult to find the lie, and there's legendaries which don't come from eggs so they have no egg moves, (which applies to some nonlegendaries too i guess lol). A very interesting concept, and the preview at the start has me very excited for this
