Meowth is definitely based on the combination of "meow" and "mouth", not just "meow". The mouth part comes from the fact that it talks. If I was to guess on the single description that Frank gave of "a sound that a cat makes" and nothing else, I'd have 100% guessed Mew.

Viridian being officially defined as "BLUEISH green" is a crime. I google it and half the images for it are TEAL when, as far as I've seen when its being used in media and on design descriptions, it's like, a forest green.

????? I searched Viridian and Viridan Green and came up with basically the same images, all leaning towards green. A website _about_ pigments called it blue green. I searched teal and it gives me a way more mixed variety, but they lean more towards blue then green. Viridian seems to be a more specific term then teal so I think what happened is that you're used to seeing a darker teal, not that viridian _is_ teal, since both are in the blue-green category of pigments.

Here’s an idea! In the first round you and your opponent each choose a pokemon from the 3 they reveal. Rounds 2-6 when you choose your next pokemon your opponent has the option to trade one of their pokemon for the remaining two. This continues until you each have a full team of 6.

For ogrepon you could have said Ogre- a large creature in various cultures known for its inhuman strength, and -pon a seedless and sweet citrus; stemming from dekopon as that is likely where the -pon in its name comes from since a Dekopon is a hybrid variation of the satsuma orange and explains ogrepons grass typing #TeamVinny (edit: spelling corrections)
