Hard truth after btech from IIT , l&t came into our campus and offer 6 lake CTC for get inhand approx 35k. None other core company visited and most of the student go to financial firm in 7-8 Lakh CTC in which base is 50k it is so horrible situation. As my suggestion go to it branch or if you get other branch then do coding other wise in final year your friends of other branch placed in MS, amazon CTC approx 40 Lakh and you just frusteting with all of this .and asked question to himself why you choose non cse branch and if you choose then why you not do coding. Most of the IiT the placement of core branch is horrible that's why most of the student go to financial firm.

Bhai sach bathadiya. Good. in INdia due to corruption, land mafia, core fields are not paid well especially civil. Civil engineering jobs are so unorganized,. From labors to engineer, mangers and project directors.. THey are not paid well for their efforts.
