@FumiDesaluVold11 ай бұрын
Happy belated Birthday 🎂 sunshine! Not only should you not sleep with him, but you should no longer invest in this relationship. Any man that loves you cannot wait for your special day to shower his love and affection all over you. And if he forgot, he should not even be told what to do to make up for it. Move on and find a man that will love and appreciate the true QUEEN 👑 that you are. And if he has an issue with what I advised, tell to come and talk to me! love u. 😘 ❤️

Not sleeping with a man takes away all time wasters and stops your heart being broken because there’s no soul ties. Abstinence also allows you to walk away from any mistreatment . Sex will never be the reason a man chooses to get married, and men know this, so don’t drop your standard.

I had a kid at 21, baby daddy wasn’t ready and left me. I set a plan for myself. I wouldn’t give myself away to anymore men. I chose celibacy after that. I would not budge. I learned my power in those two years!!!!When I met my (now) husband I told him no sex before marriage. We were engaged in 8 months. 21 years of marriage later -we are blessed. Marriage is not easy-but I will say…having a marriage founded on Godly, values and principles is key. Sex comes and go-it’s amazing and at times it’s average. Love is deeply rooted sacrifice. If you’re still reading this I hope you find the love you deserve. You are worth it!❤

It seems like a fairytale when we look at her achievements but she endured a lot for it all.. age is just a number, very true... but when age is not on your side the struggle is real! That is what Fumi shows us.. that it's not easy to take the less taken route but certainly it's not impossible and fight to get it against all odds. She's an inspiration.. 😄❤️

Staying away from sex till after wedding is not an old myth, it is what God wants. The reason we keep having problems is because we either relegate God or take Him out of the picture. Besides, how many men do you want to sleep with before you tie the knot? It is only both spiritually and emotionally reasonable to sleep with your husband only.

This is truly some good stuff... I remember being invited out on a date by a guy I truly liked & who I thought liked me too. The plan was to go to the movies after work. That day I had a truly busy shift at work & missed lunch. When he texted me asking if we were still on etc I said yes & mentioned that I missed lunch & would have to just have some theatre food I guess. He responded "Ok" & then accidentally sent me a text he was supposed to send to one of his friends saying "Taking this bitch out to the movies tonight. She missed lunch on purpose & now expects me to also buy her food & I really don't want to spend any money on this bitch" 😳 I was rather shocked, hurt & disappointed I didn't even respond back I just didn't show up. I was always told to have my backup money when going out because you just never know, that low life thought I needed to wait for him to feed me 😐😂 Moral of the story: When your intentions are pure, truth reveals itself. Waiting to be married before having sex is always the best advice in my humble opinion. It doesn’t necessarily mean that your marriage will last; that takes work. However, it’s Biblical and God always gives us a manual for a happy marriage ( it doesn’t mean you don’t have problems ) but two committed people will strife yo make the marriage working

I hear what she is saying, but one thing I will add to this, is that being elusive, unattainable and hard to get is a LIFESTYLE. One truly needs to be genuinely busy with working in a job they love, working on their physique, working on enjoyable hobbies, having loads of friends, starting a business, and investing in themselves....etc. When you have so much going on and so much responsibilities, you become elusive and hard to get naturally. I use to fake being busy when I was younger and eventually the façade goes away. Now that I am older and have a lot more going on, I am soo truly busy and high on life, that I have unintentionally become elusive and hard to get.

This is true and practical advice that is much needed. Most girls focus on the wedding and do not focus on what having a successful marriage means. There is more to marriage than sex. Sex is supposed to be the icing on the cake for a married couple. I believe that having sex before marriage or not depends on your beliefs. For those who do not believe in sex before marriage, hold on to your beliefs and find a partner that reciprocates or honors your beliefs. The reason being that if you sacrifice those beliefs and things do not work out in the relationship then you are not left emotionally scarred and carrying emotional baggage. Sex has a way of complicating matters as it loses the focus on real courtship where a man and a woman really take the time to know one another as aunty Fumi has pointed out. Also even if you are not fussed it is still good to abstain until you are sure that the guy is serious about the real you instead of being a notch on his bedpost. Love your channel Fumi and definitely like sister to sister. Keep it up. 💕💖😍

I was more of a nerd girl. Seeing my beautiful sisters give cookie away in relationships taught me lessons. We had a very quick engagement for me marriage is no joke. I grew up in this marriage both of us did this. Being married for 20 years has been the hardest job that I've ever had if you want to call it a job. It also give me wonderful blessings. It is easier to quit a marriage than to stay in one, you go thru all of it the good, the bad, up and down, the rich and the poor Sickness & health. I wanted a partner,not a parent, not some that would dictate to me what wear or how to be. Marry someone that you can see yourself with on the worst day of your life and know he has your back. Go beyond looks & status.

Great advice Fumi! I use to feel like a woman can get to know a man before sex, then once it happens he still can change and move onto the next woman. But being older I know for a fact that a man is not going to waste his time if he is truly interested and see a potential future with you! If sex is all he wants, trust me, it will show and those type of men will not stick around very long if they don't get it. Sex can be an amazing thing between two people who love one another, but being in love is so beautiful and feels even better!

Auntie Fumi what excellent advice! My husband and I have been married for 3 years and we didn't live together or sleep together before marriage. This is my first marriage and his second, I'm 38 and he's 52. He had plenty of time to grow from his youthful mistakes. We both have children and didn't want anymore. He's got grown children and grandchildren and mine are teenagers. We were best friends for 7 years and built a beautiful friendship during that time. Our engagement was less than a year and we had a very small ceremony, us my sons the notary and two witnesses. We had a reception a few months later. He knows how important my kids are to me so the courting process included them. We connected on the other important levels before intimacy was introduced. It's been a beautiful process of learning about each other in that way. It's a different type of connection for sure. We're truly bonded and it radiates to other parts of our lives. If you can wait I'd greatly advise you to do so. You're making clearer choices without sex being there to cloud your judgment. Men do need to hunt and making yourself scarce actually does help. Love you Auntie and thanks for sharing!

Your advice on men is true Naija advice that we grew up receiving from our big sisters in Nigeria. Sadly when we move abroad many of us start emulating our western sisters/more liberal ways of dealing with men……. which don’t work long term. Thank you for reminding me of what works. Women being confident in our value, being fun then poof! disappearing/being scarce and allowing a man to be what he naturally should be if he’s truly interested in us: the hunter. Great advice. 💋
@BarlowEnterprises3 жыл бұрын
It works not because one is western, liberal or not. I am born and raised a Black American, Beloved. Her advice is sure because it is grounded in God's word. It is a Kingdom word. Therefore the principle, my friend, works for us all. Please do not think all western sisters are not taught well in these matters. I am married 20 years. I did not have sex with my husband before we married. I learned and understood what she is teaching from my youth and have taught or daughter (and our sons) the same. Peace.

Wow, I love this session of Sister to Sister. I am always so inspired by your advice and although I have not been clear-headed in the past I am encouraged to do so in the future. Continue to inspire and teach us. This is exactly what our communities are missing, the elders no longer sit with the youth to share their knowledge and experience and we are poorer because of it. The knowledge and value of age is so often lost and the trauma is repeated throughout generations. Thank you for being that elder

Thank you for this video. I’m 51 and waiting for marriage for sex with my husband. It has been a challenging journey with a lot of heartbreak once men knew where I stood ( and I always let them know upfront so that they could make a decision for themselves). I received a lot of ‘ man you’re a strong woman’ or ‘ I really admire you’ however, they would exit stage left. I’ve had great relationships with wonderful men who simply were challenged with waiting until marriage. This has been my choice I understand that some may not understand but the one gift I want to give my husband is a sacred space ( my body) kept especially for him. When women give our bodies away we lose a sense of sensibility because we are emotionally tied. Men can have sex and walk away as though nothing happens women however, will maintain an emotional tie even when we know the relationship isn’t right because of a sexual tie. With all of the relationships I’ve had I may have regretted not communicating enough or not not being open enough BUT I have never said ‘ damn, I wish I would’ve slept with him!!’ waiting is better not to gain control but to let the man know that you’re worth the wait.

This was another pleasantly unexpected share. You dropped nuggets, gems, and breadcrumbs all at the same time. This episode was truly a diamond in the rough, encompassing spiritual knowledge, inhuman strength, and purposeful grace. I loved it!!! As a woman or man, following the advice is SOLID. You, my lady, are definitely a woman of virtue, and I hope many adopt this strategy or stance in their quest to be intentional about locating or being present for their soon-to-be spouse. I call it forward for those who are truly ready. This was heavenly and divinely orchestrated. You were intentional in your efforts and faith; consequently, God’s will for such obedience was yea, and so Amen. 🙌🏾 You even humored us by teaching a prior mate a valuable lesson. A very expensive one, might I add? I loved that even in your mission to do so, you still exhibit a heart and a conscious. Again, thank you for being so beautiful, both inside and out. I can absolutely see myself flourishing into such a woman of beauty. So, honestly, Thank You! 🙏🏾Blessings BIG BIG L💞VE - 🌺InspirationByB, a branch and affiliate of ⚜️HairByB ✝️Supporting Scripture(s): King James Version (KJV) James 2:14-26 Faith Without Works Is Dead 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. 2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

✝️Supporting Scripture(s): King James Version (KJV) James 2:14-26 Faith Without Works Is Dead 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. 2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
