Choosing The BEST Size Nitrous Bottle! Here’s How!!!

With such good response and conversation from the previous turbo choices videos, I am ringing in the new year with more tech videos! Picking back up with the power adders conversation, this time in the form of nitrous oxide! If you’re a diesel guy, into big performance, you are either already running nitrous or are seriously considering it! In this video I take a deep dive into explaining the different nitrous bottle sizes and how to choose the one that is right for your application/use! I know very little of nitrous because I like to make sustainable power but I have heard that when running a good amount of nitrous pump diesel is where it is at as the syn diesel and bio diesel is much more prone to nitrous backfires.

I’d say there are many pro level diesel guys willing to argue that. Firepunk, Derek Rose, Ryan Milliken exct all running VP diesel race fuel or hotshot race fuel (Firepunk). All running astronomical amounts of nitrous. Engine heat, engine speed, nitrous pressure, jet size, AFR are going to factor into nitrous backfire. Not saying the fuel may not increase chance of that, but the risk is offset by the reward of the high cetane fuels.

@@LoganbuiltRaceShop I didn’t mean fuel without additives I meant versus a lot of the hot bio fuels like some of the pullers run. It’s second hand info to me and it could just be misinformation I was given that has been known to happen.

I get 1 full min on a 10lb at 100hp shot... I don't think they're filling up your bottle enough... Freeze your bottle beforehand if they are 😂

I fill my own bottles & freeze them. What does your pressure start at and drop to by the end of a 1 minute run? What size jet are you considering a 100 shot?
