@@smalin Same. I found your channel almost 15 years ago. It was great then, and it’s still great now.

I looove Chopin’s ballades and scherzos. Imo, some of the finest music ever composed for the piano

I think this is one of my favorite animations you have done. It really accentuates the different voices in the piece. Thank you!

Thank you ! I really like when Chopin is not rushed.

An _absolutely fascinating animation!_ You have captured the nuances of the piece and the interpretation of this piece by this piano player _brilliantly!_ BTW. I have _finally_ solved my MIDI file parsing problem. I can now parse a MIDI file in Python, C# and, lastly, also in C++ _without making use of libraries!_ So, I can _finally_ begin making MIDI music animations either in larger numbers, or by focusing on quality. You are my inspiration! Especially by showing such nuanced graphic animation representations of classical music you show here. They are _breathtaking_ in their simplicity! Especially in the last, say, 10 years.

The visual choices are very appropriate to the different moods. Especially the scherzi! That was soooo much fun :D

Tbh, i think this animation style (or how should i call it? Not the music animation thing, but the note shapes) suits Chopin. It's 'classy' and even delicate. In any case, the animation be lookin' nice

Hey Mr Smalin, can you make this piece in the style of bubbles like Arabesque No. 1 (2023)? I loved how the harmonies were depicted in that video and think it would suit a piece like this. This rendition by Frank Levy is so good though! Thank you! Love your videos, been watching for over 12 years even after I did my grade 8!
