As a young polish guy I must admit.. I'm proud of you. This music became a patriotic song during the World War II in Poland. Our great grandparents and grandparents was so emotionally connected to Chopin, that they wrote text to this music. The most popular version has text that started with: ,,Come back, my Johny, from this bloody war, Return and kiss me, as you did ago, I shall give thee then the fairest white rose" Thanks, Josh. PS. Polish nation is actually not so patriotic as it used to be, but many of us respect Chopin and whole WW2 history. It's to simple to explain in single YT comment.

I wonder how you see yourself in five/ten years, Josh. Maybe you will be the first musician to throw a classical guitar concert on Monday, take the stage in a jazz bar on Wednesday, have a gig at a folk fest on Saturday as a solo singer, then play the same venue with your band on Sunday. This was pure magic, I am speechless. Zs

Emily Bear can do this, on piano, interspersed with a film that she orchestrated and a symphonic piece for orchestra. You may wish to look her up. She's currently in LA, I believe, 17 years old.

This is what I have believed for so long, that if you can play classical pieces like this, transpose as necessary, you are now cooking original recipes for everything else, including jazz and blues. You may not have started out this way but you have to arrive here and leave again. God bless you Josh.

Love it. I'm a real fan of the KZbin one take where you see a single performance (even if it is selected from several) with any minor imperfections, rather than a tweeked recording that approaches perfection but it never actually happened.

I just bought my first "serious" classical guitar (1972 José Ramírez Estudio, from their first shop that was at Concepción Jerónima No. 2, Madrid). I felt I should step up to something better than I've ever had up to now so that I'll be inspired to put in the hard work needed to make some real improvement in coming years; and of course, to start really enjoying it as well. All the best in your career!
