Watching those slender fingers add so much to the beauty of the piece, just as watching ballet is more pleasurable than just hearing it .

I remember having learned the piece from you and your lovely wife Elina. It is a joyful waltz and jouney to other spheres. And I at first struggled with a strange pedaling in the repeating sections that were advised to me by Elina. Thank you both for the opportunity to learn and practice. 🎶👏❤️ I will always be grateful.

Simply brilliant; my preference is jazz styling but you bring this piece to life. Notice that you often use 2-1-2-1 for chromatic passages, as needed. Took in your tutorial on different fingerings for chromatic passages. Also, my hand has developed enough to play lots of chords with 4-5. It is a given for you. Really lovely, as good as it gets. Kudos.

May we get a lesson that we can purchase on Chopin's Nocturne 62 no 1?

I absolutely love this waltz, so elegant, probably my 3rd fav, only behind op 69 1 and op 64 1 Also, im curious, could you make a video on the chopin 25 2? Speeding it up is hell and im having some trouble with it, like, should i use loads of rotation to help in the patterns or is it just too fast, relaxing is also quite difficult

Denis, when your long awaited technique course will be published? I was very lazy in summer and need new motivation for practicing 😔

Great recording as expected from you :P. Out of curiosity, have you heard Katsaris's interpretation of this piece? Quite unique haha. Perhaps I should pick up this piece agian. Played it a few years back but never really did it justice, your video definitely makes me want to.

No, but Katsaris is a very peculiar pianist indeed!

Very nice piece, and your playing is amazing as always! Is it just me though or does the piano sound a bit "nasal"-y? The bass and high treble seem a bit weak.

@@DenZhdanovPianist Agreed! I've been learning Prelude in C minor, for several months now and while I can play it all through in time fine, there's just so much nuance to it that I am still learning it every day, and that's one of the easier ones apparently.
