Wish I still had a big chop saw....It had a built in clamp, so it'd be able to cut a YD100 cylinder nice and straight.......I seen Johnnie's Motorized Bicycles managed to cut one by hand evenly.

I use a hacksaw. It won't come out straight but an hour on a flat piece of glass and some sandpaper and that's all you need.

It just didn't have the same punch as the GE YD100. But it's still faster than it was before. I'll keep tuning it 😁👍🏾🚲💨💨

Find free software called high performance engine calculator. Then go to 2 stroke then sqish band velocity.

Did it loose tourqe because head volumes larger. Or a poor design combustion chamber set up for 47 mm and the yd is 50 mm. And did you change port timings. All three can be the cause

It actually started loosing torque before I cut the top. The cylinder was clean and the piston ring gap was spot on. But I'll check that free software you recommended and do more test. It should run better than my other YD 🤔
