Love that you're going through a space rock phase. That Dream Nebula song sounds interesting. Thanks for turning us on to another space rock band.

Wow! This is a blast from the past. Saw them in Tulsa in the 70s. It was a trip.

Awesome. I got into Nektar after hearing a song of theirs covered by Iron Maiden, that song being King of Twilight. Nothing beats 70s rock for me.

The Nektar DVD 2000's concert has long Jams which you should watch to get more of his licks. He took those Hendrix motown embellishments with that echoplex delay to a dream pop style way before the new modern dream pop. Another guitarist that was influenced by Hendrix and specialized on those Hendrix motown embellishments to make them sound Dream Pop. RHCP John Frustiante is hinting a lot of what Nektar was doing in the 70s its a style called "two part inventions" you have one low note played against embellishments. If you use the HALO delay by Robert Keeley that HALO delay is what Nektar Delay was doing boucing the notes around like a HALO. Make a PART#2 Nektar lesson when you get that HALO delay and have watched the Nektar DVD 2000's concert because he specializes in that Two part invention style to make lessons about it.

Hi, David! Greetings from Brazil! I really like your channel and I've learned a lot! Is that guitar a D'angelico Premiere DC?

Hello! Yes it is, and I picked it up last month. It's a great guitar! Thanks and take care!

'Sounds like This' is such a brilliant album; 'Good Day' which leads the album is one of their best IMO The atmosphere is off the scale; the record was 'live in the studio'. The musicianship impeccable. Roye was really into The Beatles, and you can hear their influence here 'Down to Earth' is another fantastic record, but honesly, anything from the seventies by this phenomenal group is awesome.

Very underrated and one of the best bands of 70’s. It is a shame they are not known very much today. Thanks for bringing them for the young generation.
