It is better to use vanilla. If not, please refer to my recipe video for double caramel pudding and milk tea pudding that do not use vanilla essence.

its very yummy, but when you cook caramel is not recommended. Dont add water when your stove on, so please off your stove and add water. If stove on and you add to there, i afraid will broke your skin. *sorry my english not clear, i hope you understand. Happy cooking 😘

Instead of using eggs, I think it is good to make pumpkins, bananas, etc. into paste and harden them with gelatin.

Can anyone tell me how to wash the dish where sugar was melted? It's hard as a rock. Also, don't think your flan will cook in 8+10 minutes. It takes much longer.

Soak in hot water for a while and then wash. The baking time is 8 minutes plus 10 minutes.

Hey, I saw this and it looked delicious. So I tried it today. I basically made it for 3 people so I tripled the quantity mentioned here. Couple of mistakes I made: I did not strain it while pouring it into the cup and secondly, I did not add it in a boiling water vessel, instead I placed the mugs and then started the heat. Now it has been in the fridge for the last 14 hours but it still is not set. Could you please help me why?

You need to add it in a boiling water vessel (steamer- you can use idli steamer, that's what I use) ... That's how the egg will cook and set.... Hope you tried it again. It's a really yummy recipe.

Let the caramel cool and set, then pour in the pudding. Also, even if mixed, caramel will sink underneath, so it's okay.

@Milk Peach Make sure that it is hardened by steaming it over an open flame before placing it in the refrigerator.

Is the pudding quantity correct? If not, isn't the time short? After turning off the heat, leave it in the hot water for about 10 minutes.

If you make it in the recipe process, you can definitely make pudding. I think some process is wrong.

Update.... it turned out that I was just impatient and I put it back on the stove and it solidified!!! I used a bigger container so it took about 45 min to set thank God. I can't to try it!!😁

Thank you for watching. Any sugar is OK. Maple syrup is also a good alternative to vanilla essence. There is also a recipe for double caramel pudding that does not use vanilla essence in my recipe video.

There is no problem using mug cup of any size.

This is the first I'm seeing it being prepared this way. I normally see them put in the boiling water and then bake. Never steamed on the stove.

When you say "Be careful not to bubble" what exactly do you mean? Like you don't want any bubbles at all or a few bubbles are ok, but not to many. Also how long did it take to make, and is it a easy recipe? I ask this because i know the power of editing :)

Mix gently so that it does not foam much. Also, the recipe is simple. I think it can be done in about 20 to 30 minutes from mixing the ingredients to baking. Cooling time is another.
