Sir.....i want to ask about the synaptic trough... The diagram labels it in the nerve ending but our professor said it's a depression in the muscle. Even when I searched on Google it said it's a depression in the postsynaptic membrane... Please clarify

The diagram labelling says axon terminal in synaptic trough . I means the axon terminal is present in the depression of muscle.
