A slide from my master thesis presentation. The behaviour of the particles is examined, using the Discrete Phase Model in one-way-coupling. The complex cyclone flow field requires use of the Reynolds Stress Model for turbulence modelling.
Experimental measurements on the cyclone were carried out by Obermair and Staudinger (2001).
