Beautiful friendship! Chris, I love your attitude! My son was diagnosed with Tourette's in 3rd grade as well as ADD. The medication for the ADD made his tics worse. The fact you guys are in music has to be a great thing! My son is a drummer and I just stare at him in amazement because there is no tic. None. His tics did get better over time and now he is a speech pathologist. Clay, I hate that you had to go through a hospitalization however it sounds like it did you a world of good. Please, please do not go off your bipolar meds. Both through my work and my relationships over the years I have seen just how devastating that can be. A lot of people quit their meds, think they don't need them anymore and the crash is terrible to witness. I have no clue how hard that must be but I hope you will stay under a doctor's care and continue to get better. Sorry for going all momma on you guys, but all my momma instincts kicked in on this video! Keep on loving life and making music!

Get good sleep. You really learned a lot in rehab. Proud of you for handling it well at such a young age. I tip my hat to you. 🎩Chris really gets you and is supportive. Stay friends forever. 💓

Me, too. I can definitely relate! ❤. I was really touched by these two. I tried to get my mother to watch it, so she would understand my condition a little better, but she couldn’t pay attention to Clay at all, because Chris’s Tourette’s had her ADHD hyperfocus on him, too much to hear Clay. I don’t know how that works with the two of them, but I imagine Clay is used to filtering out the tics from what he takes in, mentally, and focusing on the important things Chris says, as well hold his own train of thought. I don’t find tics distracting, but I don’t have ADHD. I’m autistic, with Bipolar 1 and PTSD, cause CPTSD wasn’t a thing, when I was diagnosed. With autism and bipolar, nothing can stop my train of thought, or divide my attention, if I’m focused. J/K…there are very specific sensory stimuli that knock me completely off course, but movement isn’t one of mine. Of my mom sees anyone moving, it’s like an emergency for her to move, too! But, over years of knowing another person with a different disability, it’s definitely possible to adapt to each other’s ways, like these two have!

Not only is the friendship great, but these young men have such great integrity. I hope their parents are proud of them. They are so intelligent, and I agree with them that they have the skills to change the world. I hope their parents are proud of them because they did a phenomenal job raising them. Keep on with music, because that is an amazing art form. Music has personally been my savior through so much in my yrs on this earth. I wouldn't be alive today without it. I hope this becomes a series where every so many months Mark checks in on them to see their progress. To help with Chris with the turrets, do the breathing exercises right before work. Put on headphones before you clock in and on breaks. Blast it to drown out every noise around you, close your eyes and take deep breaths until you feel your heart rate regulate better. And to help Clay, I honestly think the same will help. Also, do not stifle your adhd. use that as your superpower. I am 38 and have had some phenomenal comments on my work ethic and talents outside of work. My response is always "instead of medicating for adhd, I have made it my superpower"

I love them, they are so genuine and wholesome. They are going places, no doubt 🥹🩷 music is healing, Chris should dive DEEP into it. Clay is seriously the BEST friend, very rare to find 💕 KEEP PUSHING BOYS! You both are amazing, inside and out. Clay, coming from someone who has bipolar polar disorder, dealing and managing it for 16/17 years of my life… you got this and you will get better. Learn about it, and find your coping mechanisms that’s work for you personally. Learn those triggers and learn how you can handle getting to that tipping point. Music and stepping away from the trigger has helped me the most. 🩷 also that’s my favorite kayne verse and song. Relate to it and help others. 🥰 Chris should also read up on triggers for his ticks and seems like sugar might not help 😫 not a doctor but experience wise, he for sure seems adhd/ocd along with Tourette’s. Keep that in mind 🥰
