I have his 7 string USA model in trans white. Best guitar I’ve owned. My only complaint is it’s way to heavy and hurts after a while. A USA Jackson is gonna be different than an imported Indonesian Jackson. That’s how all these companies are. If you want the real thing, gotta spend the money. 90% of guitars are all made by 3 factories and the only difference in company name is design and quality control. It’s the same Koreans and Indonesians making schecter, Jackson, dean etc.

Richard Williams seven string
@jeffreyburrell6 жыл бұрын
@@richardwilliams2853 It's a seven string guitar, with the seventh being a low B string. There's a TON of music out there with seven string guitar. Vai was one of the earliest (if not THE guy IIRC), then Korn made it really popular. A bunch of nu metal bands used them in the late 90s and 2000s, but I didn't like many of those bands. However, check out Dream Theater's "Awake" album and Nevermore's "Dead Heart in a Dead World" for what seven string can do in the hands of amazing musicians. There's also a bunch of music out there with 8 string guitar: After The Burial (check out kzbin.info/www/bejne/b52ZZZR6q7yHrM0 to watch the late Justin Lowe shred a 9 string!) and Animals As Leaders. As far as you "picking" a string, you don't really have a choice. I suppose you could try, but a seven string guitar meant to have a low B string will be manufactured to accommodate that lower string; the bridge and nut will be properly made so that the string sits properly, as well as the pickup poles being properly centered, etc. I do remember seven strings like what you wanted: ones with a high A string, but they don't appear to have caught on. I think I remember Greg Howe using one, but I'm not certain. Anyway, good luck with your playing!
