Though, I also think its a coping mechanism for her. "Oh, he doesnt like to come visit or go out for dinner because hes likely autistic". @@rasmusazu Yeah I am well into adulthood at this point, I started having these symptoms as a pre-teen. Social being draining is definitely how I would peg it, other symptoms include (at least for me) being unable to read social cues, always approaching situations like it's a problem of logic and numbers and the door to my appartment being like.. this uncrossable threshold, my home is a sanctuary to me, the only place where I really feel fully safe, and people crossing that threshold make me feel uncomfortable. I also build relationships more based on trust and shared interests than feelings ? I would say that I never felt my symptoms as a bad thing ? It's always external things that made me feel like it's bad ie: my mother, struggling to function in a work environment with other people, etc... You can also like.. become fairly well-liked by people and be part of a community without triggering these symptoms ? At this point, I manage a community of ~80 people online, and yeah, they perceive my communication style as harsh, but fair, and I am really good at resolving problems/moderation. Also, circling back to this appartment thing, I think people like this are very desirable to landlords, and I believe he identified it in me early, and picked me because of it. He definitely behaves with me like someone who knows what an autist is. He always communicates with me via texts, rarely does so and he only comes into my place if he really needs to. I hear all kinds of horror stories from the other tenants about party people, so yeah, you can be very desirable on a societal level. If you feel like you might be on the spectrum, then I suggest developing skills that you can exercise from home that you can potentially monetize, coding being a very, very obvious thing to recommend, and if you're more into art, electronic music and the like because of its logical/mathematical nature. ADHD is very commonly comorbid with high functioning autism for millenials and beyond. Ultimately though, I'm not a doctor!!!! The biggest thing to take away is, other than people brought to this person by the internet, no one has cared about this family for a long time. The time for outside family or friends to step in and help was probably back in the 90s. There is no further care or protection order for Barbra because someone has to pay for it and care enough to help getting these things rolling. There is no long term care for Chris because he is not "sick enough" for the systems we have in place which are not amazing anyway. Every angle of this story and history is one that showcases failure. Failure of parenting, personal responsibility, systems of government....just acres of failure. Chris-chan will never fail to make me feel very sad, grossed out, and slightly angry.

After seeing the whole of that massive 80+ part documentary on Chris, I learned a lot about Chris, but more about people and the culture on the internet in general. Chris as a boy and well into his adulthood was clearly extremely impressionable and vulnerable, even in his early life he showed signs that he did not understand what's appropriate and what isn't (which cannot be understated), many fucked up individuals online took advantage of that vulnerability and constantly tormented him in the sickest of ways for their own entertainment for the intirety of his young adult life with no regard for his own mental well being or what's best for him. If the things that were done to him were done to someone like a teenage girl, an elderly woman or even a cat, the same people that laugh at Chris would be in outrage. But because he was a young man who had funny reactions to all the abuse, those sick fucks got a pass. He needed help from a very young age, not.. This.

That's all good and true, but Chris had plenty of opportunities to turn his life around and instead took the worst possible choices in life. Yes he is a victim, but he's also accountable for the way his life has turned out. Even now instead of getting a job, or working on himself, he'd prefer to interact with the internet because having a small number of people feeding into his narcissism is preferable to him than exiting his delusions.
@Posts_Comments10 ай бұрын
@@princetchalla2441 Autism is complicated, it's not something that you can measure a person on a scale of 1 - 10. There are so many different ways it can effect a person and to different extents. When you see many hours of footage of Chris and how he reacts to things, it's obvious he isn't able to use reasoning skills the same way that the vast majority of people naturally can. It's why people who suffer from Autism to this extent need a lot of guidence, understanding and someone they can trust. Chris had the opposite of all those things, he was terminally online and exposed to so much cruelty the intirety of his adult life, even his 'friends' where there solely to hurt and use him for content. It really is crazy how much abuse he went through. There's a lot of bad things he's done, but when you hear him respond in these situations, he genuinely doesn't know what makes them bad, he tries to make up for it in his own way, only to fuck up again because he can't comprehend how others think and what effect X action would have on them because he can only use his dysfunctional mind to do it. His delusions are likely a late stage cope for reality for him. Starting with his comics and how he'd use them to create his own world that he can control because he just can't understand the real one he's living in. He can change the outcome of any real scenario by playing it out in his stories to get a fantastical version of the outcome he wants or as revenge for people not understanding him. His coping mechanism developed into the delusions that exist now, believing there really is an alternate reality that only he can access and control where his friend Sonichu, Rosechu etc will always be there for him. I don't know what he would prefer, but he's defintiely on the internet because that's all he knows. I can't imagine he'd be able to hold down a job with his emotional and general mental instability.

Chris should be in a facility. He clearly needs real help and to NOT be on the internet in any way. It's done him no favors and instead likely has damaged his mental health further than what we've already seen. It's honestly quite sad.

I’m 30 years old, and I remember laughing at Chrischan as a high schooler. Then I went to college, grew up, and forgot him. Then in 2021 the news came out and I was like “WTF he still is out there.” It’s just fucking tragic.

I am the same age as him.... One would think that after everything that has happened through the years,. that he would wise up and stop it. But nothing ever registers. As long has he can get away with being this way, he will do it. Chris is not a good person, to say the least. But he has something more going on than just autism as well.. He is mentally challenged. How do you explain someone that graduated high school and college and still thought that the way to save unborn children was to recycle your own semen via drinking it. And he made that video when he was what?.. 27 - 28 years old?.... Still living with his mommy and daddy in a cluttered room filled to the brim with video games and toys and plushies. There is no saving this guy. The only one that can help him now is himself and i dont see that happening. Kids will just take advantage out of him because of some clout and hes going to be like the weird old man down the road that everybody laughs at like a freak show.

Stop it get some help you need some too but he needs it more but you also need some if you're on the internet doing this bullying is not okay at all and I know that cuz I'm autistic I've been bullied for my life and it's not fun I'm not bullied that much cuz I'm in a specialized class I was when I was in school I was in a special class right away in school but the sad thing is they cannot find out I was autistic until I turned 11 but I was too late and mental hospital for 2 years but now everything's going pretty decent don't bully me on the internet please I just have no opinion that Chris ain't as bad as a person as you think I respect your opinion on him though you don't got to call me a monster for it it would be like saying I like Sonic 06 and then you say you don't but I don't like that game my favorite game is Terraria just wish I had a better gaming PC I get really good grades in school also I have a high GPA
@protozoakid62198 ай бұрын
@@NatetheNintendofan I understand what you’re saying, bullying is wrong, but at the current moment the facts are he raped his elderly mother nearly 10 times. Before, the bullying of Chris was wrong and outright cruel, but he has gone past the point of no return. There is no hope of being a “good person” once you do your elderly mother, at that point you are horrible and there is no going back.
@HangMrH6 ай бұрын
@@protozoakid6219i am not gonna defend him, but this is clearly a psychological case of gaining dominanve over his mother, this guy doesn't deserve bullying he needs to be put into mental institution and get actual help or put out of misery, this ia beyond sad at this point

I've never felt more compelled to talk about anything chrischan related but the pickle rick thing got me, I think he's a representation of a part of chris, probably about how he thinks he so smart and clever and can persevere through anything, especially given the actual pickle rick episode rick has to overcome a lot and outsmart everyone and still come out on top regardless of what he went through, and having to do bad things to achieve what he wants, he probably feels that way about getting away with EVERYTHING he's done and then profiting off of that. I cant see it as anything but another physical character being an extension of himself and essentially saying he just like me fr. AND if in this scenario its chris going back to his old self either by timeline or alternate dimension or whatever rick would be a resalable character to have help him and be there

I feel like that moment when Chris got that donation where he was confronted with the fact he raped barb, what I believe is happening is it almost seems like it’s the first time it ever sunk in. The emotion almost seemed like straight horror to me. I wonder if that was the first time someone used the word rape to explain it to him. It seems like he’s realizing for the first time that yes, what he did was rape his mom. He looks genuinely horrified, like I’m certain he would be when he realized he is rapist. It’s like he’s finally realizing how horrifically dark and disturbed he truly is, like he’s terrified of what he’s done and what he’s capable of. That clip was very disturbing to me.
