Hey Anthony! That was an exceptional interview. My sister and i enjoyed it. though we have been voting as democrats, we are conservative in our beliefs. We both like Chris Christie and would vote for him if he becomes the primary pick for the GOP. We are beyond tired of the nastiness and criminality of trump which we knew about as he was coming down the escalator. We are not surprised by who he is as he shows everyone daily. “Cuts in government spending” is a nice way of saying cuts in SS, Medicare, and yes, education. Christie is pure Republican and wants to cut middle class spending rather than raise taxes on million and billionaires and corporations who and which pay little in taxes. SCOTUS just blocked student loan forgiveness. Every program designed for the middle class is being attacked or wiped out, but the wealthy still pay very little comparatively to help the middle keep the programs that help the most.

The idea is to cut taxes on wealthy families who can afford private schools, and leave the masses who can’t afford private schools in dilapidated public schools. The privileged kids will command the top end of the work force while everyone else continues to struggle. This has been the result of every Republican President since Reagan, who they tout as their greatest. Reagan, who I did vote for the first term, also destroyed corporate pension plans and pushed retirees into 401k’s, which is a disaster. He also managed to run the debt up 176% in just 8 years. Yet, the middle continues to vote against its own interests.

Willing to own up to mistakes, telling the truth whether people want to hear it or not, laying out his vision for the country, and doing it all in a convincing manner. This is a man I would trust to serve as President of the United States. We need people who are willing to lay out their experience and how it will inform the way they carry out their duties as President. Chris Christie has not only done this, but he has shown why his experience will be uniquely beneficial when it comes to getting things done. With this in mind, he is not perfect. His social media presence needs to be more engagement-focused, because I have yet to see any contact method, a merch store, or other means of interacting with the campaign. There are many questions he has not yet answered for, i.e. details on the Bridgegate scandal, closing the beaches during a shutdown while going himself, etc. I also want to see more of the specific policy goals he wants to achieve and how he plans on achieving them, but even with all of this in mind, he has been off to a great start.

Im an independent and will listen to anyone. I like what Chris Christie has to say. Now, I realize that politicians say anything to get elected so what they say doesnt translate into what they do once in office. But I would vote for him, and I would say this is more the republican party my day was a part of 50 years ago, rather than what it has become now. Trump opened the door to rudeness, and lack of class into the presidency, and the nations rhetoric followed that. It became acceptable to be in your face in public and polarized becasue thats what we see our elected officials doing.They set the tone for the nation. So fat, I like this guy.

I'm hearing that the economy has improved under Biden. Unemployment is very low. I've heard several times from Christie that things are bad under Joe Biden. So which is it? Are we doing well, according to Ben Meiselas or doing poorly, according to Chris Christie? Would Mr. Christie please be specific about what policies of Biden he disagrees with and why. You're hearing things have improved because they have, compared to when he got in office which was right in the heart of COVID. So things were always going to improve to a certain extent. I don't think Biden deserves much credit for that.

Christie is an easy guy to like, but he switches horses whenever he thinks it will benefit him. When he was the governor he wasn’t exactly honest. Im not a Trump fan, but can’t any of these politicians run without trashing someone else. I thought Biden was too old, but after watching the Nicole Wallace interview I realize I was wrong. But of course Christie has to trash him too. Liz Cheney gave up her position for her beliefs. Got to admire that. These wannabes always trot out job creation. The unemployment rate will never be lower than it is now. Three or four percent of Americans wouldn’t take a job under any circumstances. I’m done. Still waiting for someone to vote for !

Chris, I left the party in 2016. I became a republican under Ronald Reagan. I am certain that you will bring me back to my party. You should have run when it was clearly your time but that is the past. You are a man of integrity and your campaign, as it starts, will be focused on policies and social issues that affect the American people's daily living. You provided good leadership in NJ and it's about time for the country to benefit from an effective leader who sincerely loves his country.
