Wow! Really great footage!! How Eerie it was, in the eye of the storm, it was so calm and then it went back to high winds. I seen a comment where a lady said, “The eye of the storm, passed over her home and she could see the stars ✨ “ that’s how Clear the sky was!

I live in Sarasota. I am a native who lived here for 39 years. That is the first time I ever experienced anything like this and I hope it is the last. I'm grateful for storm chasers like you for braving nature's fury while folks like me were hunkered down hiding from this wrath. Thankfully my house didn't sustain any damage, did lose a rather large tree, but that didn't fall on anything important. Went 5 long days without power. Some of my neighbors went a week. Being in the eye was interesting, but not enough to ever want to go through this again lol.

Nice video, you're a legend Chris. Seeing the videos you got of Charley, and other 2004 Hurricanes that I went through as a kid, is one of the reasons I started recording video of Tropical Cyclones in my own way. Glad to see you're still out there doing it in Milton, I got some video here in Brevard County, FL when it went by as a Category 1.

This is definitely not scientific research. These guys are there risking their personal integrity for views on KZbin. I just can't understand the mindset. Godspeed. But it makes for a cool video I guess.

They're making money with these videos, and not just from YT, they license them to news outlets.

why the clickbait thumbnail? Why mock people who really was in a situation like that? Therefore the next hurricane will be your last. Nature does not like to be played with like that
