And the fact that Chester ended his own life on Chris Cornell’s birthday. I miss them both so very much. Amazing men.

Yes. I've seen a lot of musicians pass from suicide in the last 40 years of my time here on this planet and Chesters passing has devastated me like no other. He was one of my top 5 favorite singers/artist. RIP Chester & Chris See you on the other side. ❤️🙏✌️

I don't think either one killed themselves. They were working on a documentary about the pedo problem in Hollywood with Anthony Bourdain. They claim it doesnt exist but I've seen rough draft pieces of it.

The pain in that scream is almost unfathomable, like he put everyone’s pain in that moment into it😥.I’m back, had to get a tissue. Such a heartfelt tribute to Chris. Chester’s heart is on his sleeve. RIP Chris. Gone, but never, ever forgotten 😢🥺😢🥺

Look how everyone in the audience is perfectly still and quietly listening. That’s how powerful this performance was.

The scream let him finally stop holding back his emotions and just let it out which is why afterwards he couldn’t get his composure back. The pain was already out there now

Thank you for acknowledging Chris Cornell. I shot photos(I'm a concert photographer) of him with Soundgarden 3 weeks before he passed away. He was mesmerizing to watch. Breaks my heart.

When you said "that scream was probably the easiest part of the song for him" I got chills cause I never even thought about it like that, but you're probably completely right. What a fucking tragedy.

I know mate it's heartbreaking, funny how a different perspective on something can change the whole dynamic of a song

The scream was the easiest. The strength to sing after the scream was probably the hardest 😪
It's all still so heartbreaking 💔 RIP Chester and Chris. You will always be missed.

Remember please hug someone that you know and care for today and tell them you love them. I lost my dad a couple months ago and never got to say that to him because we hadn't spoken in almost 10 years. Captain Picard once said...“Seize the time…. Live now! Make now always the most precious time. Now will never come again.”. So true. Take care.

Depression is the devil that can exist in ANYONE. It's not always apparent. I certainly didn't expect Chris to commit suicide due to depression. Chester certainly didn't keep his depression a secret but I was still shocked and heartbroken about his death. RIP CHRIS and CHESTER

😢RIP Chester & Chris & countless others who lose the battle😢 So sad they felt the need to depart! I understand why, cuz I have struggled with the demons in my head all my life & it’s EXHAUSTING. Suicide is not the “easy way out”, “attention seeking”, or “selfish”!! It’s also not anyones fault. They had a great circle of people around them who knew the struggles they were dealing with & they were there for them. We’re told to reach out, but in my own experience, people get sick of hearing it, cuz there’s not a quick fix. I’ve been told I talk about my struggle for sympathy! Nothing could be further from the truth & saying things like that just adds more ammunition to a very distressed brain that wants to kill me! I’ve even been told they need a break from me. Do they know how lucky they are to be able to take a break from me? I understand, but that cuts deep! I wish I could take a break from me! So I hide it as much as I can (we’re very good at that) cuz I don’t want to lose another friend. So when that demon inevitably takes over there really is nothing anyone could do or say to stop it. It’s never about just one thing either, it’s a build up of many things. Like the song says “just cuz you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there!” Sorry about the essay lol! Xx
